Congjun Yu

Congjun began his academic career in chemistry at the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry (SIOC), where he earned his master’s degree under the supervision of Prof. Guozhu Zhang. He then pursued his Ph.D. at RWTH Aachen University in Germany with Prof. Frédéric Patureau, graduating summa cum laude. He subsequently joined the research group of Prof. Guangbin Dong at the University of Chicago as a postdoctoral researcher. In 2025, he began his independent career as a tenure-track assistant professor at the University of Colorado Boulder.
